Based in Ostrá, a village in the Central Bohemian region in Czechia just east of Prague, the Botanicus Company combines organic growing and traditional hand made production with modern scientific principles and an abiding inspiration from the World of Plants since 1992.

The unique closed-cycle structure "Grower-Production-Seller", is figuratively represented in the Company logo using the three Latin words: Hortus is the Garden; Botanicus is The World of Plants; Apothicus represent the natural products made from the plants that originate in the garden.

The result is an entire range of Botanicus skincare and cosmetic products that is made with the highest possible quantity of fresh, natural and organic ingredients grown in our own garden complex right next to the production facility, without the use of preservatives where possible.

The Botanicus brand represents not just its products, but also an attitude and philosophy towards life and nature.     With soil that is naturally rich and pure, the EU BIO-certified garden does not use any commercial fertilizer, chemical pest controls or growth stimulants. All aspects of growing, including land management, plant and seed sourcing, weeding and harvesting are monitored by KEZ, the organic certification organization of Czechia.

  • Botanicus - The World of Plants

    Plants, herbs, fruits and flowers used in Botanicus products are grown in the garden complex right next to the production facility. This ensures fresh plants can be processed immediately for extracts and oils, as opposed to using dried herbs like most other brands.

    Botanicus products contain the highest possible quantity of natural and organic plant material.

  • Apothicus - Tradition & Quality

    Based on traditional and original recipes, Botanicus products are developed without the use of preservatives wherever possible, and the entire product range is produced in small batches to conserve the natural characteristics of the organic ingredients.
